Our Mandate
The mandate of Equip 4 Success is to teach and train people according to the principles of God’s Word, so that they are equipped to succeed in their everyday lives.
…for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…
Ephesians 4:12,13 (NKJ)
To equip defined:
‘to provide with abilities, understanding’ (Collins English Dictionary)
Success defined:
‘favourable outcome, happiness, prosperity, triumph’ (Collins Thesaurus)
Therefore, Equip 4 Success aims to provide people with abilities and understanding from God’s Word, so that they can experience happiness, prosperity, triumph and a favourable outcome in every area of their lives.
This is God’s plan for us as Christians:
2 Corinthians 2:14: Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ… (NKJ)
3 John 2: I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. (NKJ)
Jeremiah 29:11: “…For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV)
Psalm 35:27: Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. (NKJ)

The 5 E’s of Equip 4 Success
We aim to see people:
- Enabled to succeed in life
Ecclesiastes 10:10: …wisdom brings success. (NKJ)
- Empowered to fulfil God’s purpose
2 Peter 1:3: …His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us… (NKJ)
- Encouraged to walk more closely with God
Ephesians 3:17-19: …that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may…know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (NKJ)
- Expanding in knowledge and understanding of the Bible and how to apply it to their lives
Colossians 1:9,10: …that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. (NKJ)
- Encountering God’s freedom

Our Aims
We aim to equip:
- Christians… to understand and experience the fullness of life God has for them with regard to faith, healing, finance and more
- Leaders… to effectively grow and lead their teams, implement change and guide their churches forward with wisdom
- Children’s workers… to bring the Word of God to life for the children they minister to
- Parents… to train up their children effectively and enjoy doing it
- Couples… to have a successful marriage, overcoming conflict and growing in understanding of each other
- Children… to know the power and truth of God’s Word at a level they can understand and apply to their daily lives.

Our Goals
Equip 4 Success seeks to outwork its mandate through the following practical goals:
- To work with pastors and church leaders in their specific location and situation
- To run Bible training/teaching courses in a variety of formats
- To run parenting skills workshops
- To hold healing meetings
- To offer support, direction and training to children’s ministries and workers
- To hold children’s conferences/workshops
- To run marriage and relationship coaching
- To produce literature.
